  I'd seen another podiatrist for a problem with a recurrent 'ingrown' very thick toenail which he had removed twice (rather painful and unsuccessful procedure). I'd seen Dr. Tumen years ago for the BEST orthotics (Metatarsal supports built right into my still favorite Birkenstocks) and I decided to return (though his practice is further distance). He immediately assessed that a very minor and nearly painless tendon release of my toe would alleviate the problem of the nail growing in (It has not recurred in over 18 months). I just returned when I had a similar issues with another toe, and Dr. Tumen was VERY honest in saying the results might not be as successful since I had more arthritis in this toe, but I just had the procedure and it was very painless and seems to also be very successful in alleviating the problem. I also have felt very 'heard' and never rushed by him. I highly recommend Dr. Tumen.

  All I have to say is that I have had an ongoing pain in my foot for about 10 months now. I had been going to another podiatrist in Kingston, not mentioning names for the first 6 months. After 3 x-rays, 8 cortisone shots, an MRI, and 3 braces later I decided to give this place a shot. I saw Dr. Longo. No regrets. I was iffy of him at first but he will show you he wants to help you. And after one visit, ONE, visit... he had me feeling 90% better. I'm just sorry it took me so long to find him!! I will forever be grateful to Dr. Longo!
